01 — Run the WooCommerce Setup
Complete the WooCommerce onboarding steps and confirm your store location, industry and basic business details. These settings influence currency, taxes and shipping options.
TIP — You can change most onboarding settings later from WooCommerce → Settings.
02 — Business, Currency & Units
Set your selling location, currency, currency position, weight unit and dimension unit to match your market and product catalog.
TIP — Double-check currency before adding large numbers of products.
03 — Add & Organize Products
Create products with clear titles, descriptions, prices, images, inventory data and variations where needed. Organize products using categories, tags and attributes.
TIP — Use consistent image ratios to keep shop and category grids visually stable.
04 — Configure Payments
Enable the payment methods you intend to accept and complete the provider setup. Keep only relevant methods visible to reduce checkout confusion.
TIP — Always use test or sandbox mode before accepting a real payment.
05 — Shipping & Tax Settings
Create shipping zones and methods for the regions you serve. Configure tax rules based on your business requirements and local obligations.
TIP — Tax requirements vary by location; confirm the correct rules for your business.
06 — Check Essential Store Pages
Confirm WooCommerce has assigned the Shop, Cart, Checkout and My Account pages correctly. Review each page with your theme styling applied.
TIP — Avoid using the same page for multiple WooCommerce system functions.
07 — Place a Test Order
Test the complete journey from product selection through cart, checkout, payment, emails and order management before launch.
TIP — Test on both desktop and mobile, including validation and error states.
